Harald Schwartz (born January 31, 1969 in Bad Kötzting ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CSU ).

Life

Study and job

Schwartz studied economics (focus: finance and taxes) and law (focus: public business law) at the University of Bayreuth until 1995, for which he received a scholarship from the highly gifted.

Schwartz received his doctorate during his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Regensburg (1995 to 1998). The doctorate was supported by a grant from the Federal Ministry for Education and Science, Research and Technology - mediated by the Hanns Seidel Foundation. Topic of the thesis: International private law of liability for financial losses Legal comparison: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England and France. Schwartz is a specialist lawyer for insolvency law and a specialist lawyer for tax law and was a representative in the six-person examination committee for banking and capital markets law and a member of the restructuring, reorganization, insolvency e. V.

In the state elections in 2013 , he won the direct mandate in the district of Amberg-Sulzbach . In the 17th electoral term, Schwartz was a member of the Committee on Petitions and Complaints and the Committee on Economy and Media, Infrastructure, Construction and Transport, Energy and Technology. Since April 2018, Schwartz has been chairman of the working group petitions and complaints of the CSU parliamentary group and was chairman of the committee for petitions and complaints (petitions committee) in the Bavarian state parliament from April to November 2018. Harald Schwartz has been a member of the board of the CSU parliamentary group since April 2018.

Teaching

Since 2000 he has been a lecturer at the Bayerische Sparkassenakademie (topics: crisis and insolvency), since 2006 a lecturer at the Academy of Bavarian Cooperatives (topic: the process of insolvency proceedings) and from 2011 to 2018 he was a lecturer at the University of Augsburg on the basic seminar of insolvency law .
