Hardball is the name of a US television series that was broadcast internationally. The 18 episodes were first broadcast on NBC from 1989 to 1990 . The main roles were played by John Ashton and Richard Tyson . The German broadcast took place on Friday at 8:15 pm on SAT.1, with only 17 episodes being shown. Three years later the series was repeated on ProSieben and the episode not previously shown in Germany was also broadcast.
The series is about the two unequal cops Charlie Battles (Ashton) and Joe "Kaz" Kaczierowski (Tyson), who get together after initial discrepancies and investigate together.
