Lucy Bryan (born May 22, 1995 in Bristol ) is a British pole vaulter .

Athletic career

Lucy Bryan gained her first experience in international competitions at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Lille , where she won the bronze medal with 4.10 m. In 2013 she finished seventh at the Junior European Championships in Rieti with 4.05 m and in 2017 she won the bronze medal at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, by equalizing her best performance of 4.40 m . The following year she took part for the first time in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast and was there seventh with a height of 4.30 m. In addition, she also took part in the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated with 4.35 m in the qualification.

Bryan is studying sports management at the University of Akron . Her brother is the professional soccer player Joe Bryan .
