The 11th European Athletics U23 Championships took place from July 13 to 16, 2017 in the Polish city ​​of Bydgoszcz . Bydgoszcz hosted the U23 European Championships for the second time in 2003 .

The title fights were awarded to Bydgoszcz on June 12, 2015 at the 144th official council meeting of the European Athletic Association (EAA) in Oslo .

Attendees

The German selection consisted of 76 athletes.

The Swiss Athletics Association (Swiss Athletics) selected its largest team to date of 34 athletes.

The Austrian Athletics Association (ÖLV) sent 15 participants (7 men and 8 women).
