Kätlin Piirimäe (born November 8, 1995 ) is an Estonian shot putter who also competes in hammer throw and discus throw .

Athletic career

Kätlin Piirimäe gained her first international experience at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Lille , where she was eliminated with 12.39 m in qualification, as well as at the 2012 Junior World Championships in Barcelona . At the 2013 European Junior Championships in Rieti , she won the bronze medal with 16.80 m. She also finished seventh at the European team championship. At the Junior World Championships in 2014 , she finished tenth in the final. She also qualified for the European Championships in Zurich , where she was eliminated in the qualification with 15.66 meters.

At the U23 European Championships in 2015 in Tallinn , she was eighth. At the European Championships in Amsterdam in 2016 , she was eliminated from the qualification with 15.85 m. In 2017 she qualified for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade , but dropped out again in the qualification there. At the European Winter Throwing Cup in Spain she competed internationally for the first time in the discus throw and was 13th in the U23 ranking. At the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , she again took eighth place in the final with 16.07 m.

So far she has been a four-time Estonian champion and indoor champion.
