Alexander Doom (born April 25, 1997 ) is a Belgian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Alexander Doom gained his first international experience in 2013 when he won the gold medal over 400 meters in 47.93 seconds at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). In 2015 he took part in the Belgian 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna , where he finished fifth in 3: 14.12 min, while at the U20 World Championships the following year in Bydgoszcz he finished with 3: Eliminated 10.78 min in the lead. In 2017, he retired from the U23 European Championships there with 48.52 seconds in the first round and finished fifth in the relay in 3: 06.45 minutes. Two years later he reached the semi-finals of the U23 European Championships in Gävle in the individual competition and was disqualified there and he could not finish the final race with the relay.

In 2017 and 2020 Doom became Belgian indoor champion in the 400-meter run.
