Reuben Arthur (born October 12, 1996 in London ) is a British sprinter who specializes in the 100 meter run .

Athletic career

Reuben Arthur gained his first international experience at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk , where he was eliminated in the semi-finals over 100 meters with 10.66 seconds. In 2014 he took part in the Junior World Championships in Eugene and reached the semifinals there again. In addition, he could not finish the race with the British 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2015 he took fourth place over 100 meters at the European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna and was disqualified in the preliminary run with the British relay.

Two years later he finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and won the silver medal behind Germany in 39.11 seconds with the British relay. In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time , where he won the English 4 x 100 meter relay in 38.13 s ahead of South Africa and Jamaica.
