The 8th World Athletics Championships for 15 to 17 year olds ( U18 for short ) took place from July 10 to 14, 2013 at the RSK Olimpijskyj in Donetsk , Ukraine .

The German Athletics Association (DLV) had nominated 51 athletes. With eight medals (two gold, three silver, three bronze) and 104 points in the national ranking, they were more successful than ever.
