Jan Doležal (born February 12, 1993 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian football player .

Career

society

Doležal started his career at Dinamo Zagreb . In 2006 he moved to the youth of NK Hrvatski dragovoljac . In March 2011 he was against the NK Varaždin for the first time in the professional squad of Hrvatski dragovoljac. After relegation from the 1st HNL he made his debut for the first team in the 2nd HNL in October 2011 when he came on as a substitute on the seventh matchday of the 2011/12 season against NK Mosor Žrnovnica in the 68th minute for Velimir Švarić . By the end of the season he made three appearances in the second division. In November 2012 he scored his first three goals in the 2nd HNL in a 3-1 win against NK Rudeš . At the end of the season he had 14 appearances in which he was able to score three goals. With Hrvatski dragovoljac he was able to rise again to the 1st HNL that season. He made his debut in the top Croatian league in July 2013 against NK Lokomotiva Zagreb . In August 2013 he scored his first first division goal in a 1-1 draw against Dinamo Zagreb. By the end of the season Doležal came to 28 missions in the 1st HNL, in which he scored five goals. After only one season, however, he had to relegate the club back to the 2nd HNL.

He then moved to the first division club NK Lokomotiva Zagreb for the 2014/15 season. In his first season with Lokomotiva he came to 23 missions and five goals in the 1st HNL. In the 2015/16 season he scored two goals in 20 league appearances. He also played his first two international matches at club level in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League against PAOK Thessaloniki . In the 2016/17 season he made 26 league appearances in which he scored five goals, and he was once again used in the Europa League qualification.

After ten more appearances in the 2017/18 season, he moved to league rivals NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica in January 2018 . For Slaven Belupo he came to 15 missions in the 1st HNL by the end of the season, in which he scored one goal. In the 2018/19 season he made 17 top division appearances and did not score a goal. In September 2019 he returned to the second division club Hrvatski dragovoljac, for whom he made ten games in 2nd HNL.

In January 2020 Doležal moved to the Austrian second division club SV Horn . For Horn he came to ten appearances in the 2nd division by the end of the season . After the 2019/20 season, he left the club. He then moved to Cyprus to join the first division team Ethnikos Achnas in August 2020 .

National team

Doležal came to a use for the Croatian U-19 selection in October 2011 . In December 2012 he played twice for the U-20 team .
