The 2nd HNL (abbreviation for Druga Hrvatska Nogometna Liga , German 2nd Croatian Football League ) is the second highest division of football in Croatia . Match operations have been carried out by the Croatian Football Association since it was founded in spring 1992 . Until 1998 and between 2001 and 2006 the league was divided into two to four seasons, between 1998 and 2001 and since 2006 it has been single-track.
