The 2. HNL 2006/07 was the 16th season of the second highest Croatian football league .

mode

In contrast to previous seasons, the league was played in a group. The 16 teams played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first and a second round.

The first in the table rose straight away, while the second played relegation games against the penultimate of the 1st HNL. The last four clubs were relegated to the 3rd HNL .
