The 1st HNL 2006/07 (through sponsorship also Prva HNL Ožujsko ) was the 16th season of the highest Croatian football league . The season began on July 29, 2006 and ended on May 19, 2007.
NK Dinamo Zagreb was able to successfully defend its title.
mode
The twelve teams competed against each other in three rounds, so that 33 match days had to be completed. The teams that finished in the first six places after 22 games had an additional six home games, the teams in the lower six places had five home games. The last one was relegated directly, the penultimate had to go into relegation.
