The Virslīga 2007 was the 16th season of the highest Latvian football league, since it was re-established in 1992. Officially, the league was called LMT Virslīga (Latvijas Mobilais Telefons Virslīga) and was hosted by the Latvian Football Association . The season started on April 7, 2007 and ended on December 4, 2007.
The FK Ventspils was able to successfully defend the title from last year and was the second time Latvian champions.
The eight teams each played against each other four times and played a total of 28 season games. No one had to relegate this season, as the league was increased to ten clubs for the following season.
