The Virslīga 1929 was the third season of the highest Latvian football division of men. It began on May 5, 1929 and ended on October 13, 1929. Defending champion Olimpija Liepāja was Latvian champions for the third time.

mode

The championship was held with five teams. ASK Riga was admitted this season. Each team played once at home and once away against the other four teams and played eight games. There was no relegation this season.
