The Virslīga 1999 was the eighth season of the highest Latvian football league since it was founded in 1992. It was played by the Latvian Football Association . The season started on April 10, 1999 and ended on November 6, 1999.

Skonto Riga became Latvian champions for the eighth time in a row.
