The Virslīga 1995 was the fourth season of the highest Latvian football league of men, since its re-establishment in 1992. It was played by the Latvian Football Association . The season began on April 16, 1995 and ended on October 31, 1995.
Defending champion Skonto Riga became Latvian champions for the fourth time in a row.
The league was played with ten teams. These first played against each other twice in a regular season with a round trip round; once at home and once away. Thus, each team initially played 18 games.
After this phase, the league was divided into two groups with the six best and four poorer teams. The teams in each group played against each other twice again. The first in the championship round was the Latvian champions. The bottom of the table was relegated to the 1st līga .
