The FK Jelgava is a Latvian football club from the city of Jelgava .
history
The club was created in 2004 through the merger of the two predecessor clubs RAF Jelgava and FK Viola Jelgava .
After being promoted to the Virslīga in 2009 , the team won the Latvian Cup in the 2009/10 season. The final against FK Jūrmala was won 6: 5 on penalties.
