BFC Daugavpils is a Latvian football club from Daugavpils , which currently plays in the second highest Latvian league, the 1st līga .

history

The club was founded in 2009 and initially played in the 1st līga . After the club landed several times in midfield, he became champions in 2013 and thus rose to the Virslīga , the highest Latvian league. The club finished its first season in the Virslīga eighth and managed to stay in the league. In the following season, the club managed to stay in league with the 6th place. In the 2016 season, the club was last and had to go to the 1st līga.
