Vladislavs Kozlovs (born November 30, 1987 in Rēzekne ) is a Latvian football player who plays for FK Spartaks Jūrmala in the Latvian Virslīga . Between 2010 and 2012 he played three times in the Latvian national team .

Career

Kozlovs began his career in his hometown Rēzekne in the youth of the BSK Dižvanagi . In 2005, Kozlovs played for the youth club at the age of 18 his first professional season in the 1st līga , the country's second-highest division. In the 2006 season he scored a goal in 23 games after promotion to the Virslīga . In addition to his football career, Kozlovs studied from 2007 to 2009 at the University of Latvia in Riga and played for the university team FS Metta / Latvijas Universitāte in the 1st līga. From 2010 he was under contract with FK Jelgava . With the club he won the Latvian Cup final in 2009/10 against FK Jūrmala-VV . Furthermore, the striker was third in the list of goalscorers in the 2011 season with 16 goals scored behind Nathan Júnior and Mamuka Gongadze . During the current 2012 season Kozlovs moved to FK Ventspils , with whom he was again cup winner in 2012/13 .

National team

Vladislavs Kozlovs made his debut for the Latvian selection on November 17, 2010 in the international match against the Chinese national team that was played in Kunming . Two more games followed in 2011 and 2012, each against Finland, including the final in the Baltic Cup 2012 , in which Kozlovs came on late and scored the goal for a 6-5 win on penalties .
