Kristaps Blanks (born January 30 or June 30, 1986 in Tukums ) is a former Latvian football player . The striker won the Latvian championship three times with Skonto Riga .

Career

Kristaps Blanks started his career in his hometown Tukums (German: Tuckum) in the youth department of FK Tukums 2000 . The attacker played at Tukums until 2002, when he moved to the Latvian record champions Skonto Riga . In the 2003 season of Virslīga Blanks made his debut at the age of 17 for Skonto. In his first professional season he was able to win the Latvian championship and was in the cup final , which, however, was lost to FK Ventspils . Blanks stayed with Skonto for eleven years and had won three championships and one cup by the end of 2013. At the beginning of 2014 he moved to FK Daugava Riga . After two more positions in the second Latvian league, he ended his career in 2016.

Kristaps Blanks made his debut for Latvia at the age of 17 against Estonia in the Baltic Cup .
