Polish Philosophical Society

Polish Philosophical Society (Polish Polskie Towarzystwo Filozoficzne ) is a scientific society in Poland , founded in 1904.

The society deals with the promotion of the philosophical sciences, in particular ontology , epistemology , logic , methodology , ethics , the history of philosophy and sociology . The company has twelve branches in Olsztyn , Wroclaw , Gdansk , Katowice , Cracow , Łódź , Lublin , Poznan , Szczecin , Toruń , Czestochowa and Warsaw with a total of 800 members.

The society publishes the quarterly “Ruch Filozoficzny” ( Philosophical Movement ). The Society is a member of the Federation of National Philosophical Societies, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de Philosophy (FISP). Władysław Stróżewski is the chairman of the company.
