Aleksejs Višņakovs (born February 3, 1984 in Riga ) is a Latvian football player who plays for Riga FC .

Aleksejs Višņakovs started his career in his hometown Riga , in the youth of Skonto Riga known as JFC Skonto . In the 2001 season Višņakovs was used for the first time by the coach of the Latvian record champions Aleksandrs Starkovs in the Virslīga . There he stayed but only with two games played for the extended squad. In addition to the championship, Skonto also won the Latvian Cup this year . In the 2002 season he played for the Latvian second division club FK Auda . At the end of the season he could show 20 games, where he hit the opposing goal once. At the beginning of the 2003 season Višņakovs returned to Skonto Riga and was able to become champions again in 2003 and 2004. After his contract was not extended at the end of the 2008 season, he signed a contract with the current champions FK Ventspils . In Ventspils he could not win any titles at national level, but internationally the Baltic League ; in the final against the Lithuanian representative Sūduva Marijampolė Višņakovs was on the starting line-up and was replaced by his Italian coach Nuncio Zavettieri shortly before the end of the game by Jevgēņijs Kosmačovs . This was followed by other positions at FK Rīgas Futbola skola , FK Spartaks Jūrmala and since 2019 he has been playing for Riga FC .

Aleksejs Višņakovs has been playing for the Latvian national football team since 2004 . He made his debut in the international match against Oman in December 2004 in Manama, Bahrain .
