The 1932 UCI Road World Championships were held in Rome on August 31st .
Race course
The professional drivers covered a distance of 206.1 kilometers. The Italian world champion of 1927 and 1930 Alfredo Binda won the third world title with a narrow margin over his compatriot Remo Bertoni . He needed an hourly average of 29.4 kilometers. There is no German driver in the list of results. Giuseppe Martano completed the Italian triumph among the amateurs. He won the 134-kilometer circuit with an average speed of 29.4 km / h. The two German amateurs Walter Lohmann and Fritz Scheller took 6th and 12th place.
