Jevgēņijs Kosmačovs (born February 18, 1988 in Tukums ) is a Latvian football player who plays for FK Spartaks Jūrmala in Virslīga .
Career
society
Jevgēņijs Kosmačovs began his career in his hometown with FK Tukums . There he made his professional debut in 2005 in the 1st līga , the second highest division in Latvia. From 2006 on under contract with FK Ventspils from the port city of Ventspils , he won the Latvian Championship (4 ×) and the Latvian Cup (2 ×) in the following years . In addition to the national titles, he was able to win the Baltic League in the final against Sūduva Marijampolė with the team in the 2009/10 season . After six successful seasons, Kosmačovs was awarded to PFK Sevastopol from the Ukraine in 2012 , later he left Latvia for good and moved to FK Schachzjor Salihorsk . At the club from Minskaya Woblasz , who is the second player in Belarusian football after BATE Baryssau , he played five games in the 2012 season and was runner-up. In the 2013 season he is back under contract in Latvia.
National team
Jevgēņijs Kosmačovs played in the Latvian U-21s from 2007 to 2010 . During the same period, the midfielder made three appearances for the Latvian national team . He made his debut there in the game against Bulgaria in February 2007 after he was substituted on for Genādijs Soloņicins . After two more games against Hungary and South Korea , Kosmačovs was no longer invited to the national team.
