Primeira Liga 2005/06

The Primeira Liga 2006/07 (officially bwinLIGA) was the 73rd season of the top Portuguese league in men's football. It started on August 25, 2006 and ended on May 20, 2007.

This season, reduced to 16 clubs, FC Porto became champions again. It was the 22nd championship of the club from the port city in northern Portugal.

The top scorer was the Brazilian Liédson from Sporting Lisbon with 14 goals ahead of Dady from Belenenses Lisbon with 12 goals. The relegation to the Segunda Liga had to accept SC Beira-Mar and Desportivo Aves , who had only been promoted to the Superliga last season .
