The Primeira Divisão 1984/85 was the 51st season of the top Portuguese division in men's football. It began on August 26, 1984 and ended on June 2, 1985.

FC Porto became Portuguese champions for the eighth time. Fernando Gomes was awarded the Golden Shoe for the second time after 1983 . For the champions he scored 39 goals this season.
