Portimonense Sporting Clube is a football club from the Portuguese city of Portimão in the south of the country.
The club played from the 2004/05 season in the second Portuguese league , the Segunda Liga , and rose in the 2009/10 season as runner-up in the SuperLiga . After relegation from the Primeira Liga 2010/11 Portimonense ended the second division season 2011/12 in the last place in the table, but could, since the first division relegated União Leiria and the third division champion Varzim SC did not meet the admission requirements of the league association, remain in the Segunda League. The club has been playing first class again since the 2017/18 season .
