Primeira Divisão 1938/39

The Primeira Divisão 1939/40 was the sixth season of the top Portuguese division in men's football. The league operation continued undisturbed during the Second World War , as Portugal declared itself neutral . The game was played from February 4, 1940 to May 19, 1940.

FC Porto became champions for the third time .
