Manuel Jesualdo Ferreira (born May 24, 1946 in Mirandela , Portugal ) is a Portuguese football coach .

He has looked after various Portuguese clubs so far, most of which he became known during his time at Sporting Braga . Ferreira received a contract with Boavista Porto at the beginning of the 2006/07 season , but moved to FC Porto before the start of the season , where he received a two-year contract. This post had become vacant after the surprising departure of the previous coach Co Adriaanse . Since joining FC Porto, Jesualdo Ferreira has won two national championships.

On May 26, 2010, FC Porto announced that it would terminate the contract with Ferreira. In June of the same year he signed a contract with the Spanish first division club FC Málaga . At the beginning of November, the Portuguese was released after just nine match days.

Between 2010 and 2012 he coached the Greek club Panathinaikos Athens . He was supposed to coach Sporting Lisbon in January 2013 , but changed his mind and took over Sporting Braga for a short time in 2014 .

On January 8, 2020, Jesualdo Ferreira was introduced as the new head coach at the Brazilian first division club FC Santos . He received a contract until the end of 2020. At the beginning of August 2020, he was released early.
