Eduardo Fernandes Pereira Gomes , called Dady (born August 13, 1981 in Lisbon , Portugal ) is a Cape Verdean football player who also has Portuguese citizenship. The striker is under contract with Atlético CP .

Career

Time in Portugal

Dady played in the youth of the traditional Portuguese club Boavista Porto . There those responsible from the national top club Sporting Lisbon became aware of him. However, he could not prevail and engagements with some smaller clubs from the 2nd Portuguese league followed. After a successful season at GD Estoril-Praia with 5 goals this season, Dady moved to the first division club Belenenses Lisbon , where he finally made his breakthrough in professional business. 15 goals in the league and cup caused interest in the Cape Verdean international at some European clubs. CA Osasuna was ultimately awarded the contract .

CA Osasuna

Dady came to Pamplona with a lot of advance praise, where he immediately proved to be a successful new addition. He was supposed to compensate for the departure of star striker Roberto Soldado , who returned to Real Madrid . With his 6 goals this season so far after his first half-year in Spain's elite league, he has fought for a regular place in his new team. After his first season in Spain, he was only used irregularly. This was due to various injuries and good performances by Walter Pandiani .

Bucaspor

In the summer he moved to Bucaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig .
