Sporting Clube Olhanense is a football club from the Portuguese municipality of Olhão near Faro in the Algarve in the south of the country.
The club played until the 2008/09 season in the second Portuguese league , the Liga da Honra (honor league) and then rose to the top of the table in the Primeira Liga . The greatest success was already a few years ago: The club became Portuguese champions in the 1923/24 season .
The Federação Portuguesa de Futebol and SC Olhanense announced in 2013 that all home games will take place at the Estádio Algarve .
