Sporting Clube da Covilhã is a football club from the Portuguese city ​​of Covilhã .

The club played since the 2005/06 season in the 2nd Portuguese league , the Liga de Honra (Honor League). The club's greatest success was its participation in the final of the Portuguese Cup in 1957, which was lost to Benfica Lisbon . Despite the sporting relegation in the 2011/12 season , SC Covilhã was confirmed as a participant in the Segunda League 2012/13 because the first division relegated União Leiria did not meet the conditions for participation.

The club has been run as the eighth branch club of Sporting Lisbon since June 2, 1923 .
