In the summer of 1989 he was committed again by Milan , who immediately sold him to Calcio Padova in Serie B. In Padua Galderisi spent a total of seven seasons, rose with the team in 1993/94 to Serie A and saved them a year later with a goal in the relegation game against CFC Genoa from relegation.

His career ended Giuseppe Galderisi in the USA at New England Revolution and later with Tampa Bay Mutiny , which he in 1996 the championship of the Eastern Conference of Major League Soccer won.

The following year he played four games at the World Cup in Mexico for the Italians , who could not defend their 1982 title and failed in the second round to France . After the 1986 World Cup, Galderisi was no longer appointed to the Squadra Azzurra , and he played a total of ten international matches.

Coaching career

In 2000 Giuseppe Galderisi started his career as a coach at AS Gubbio 1910 in the C2 series . He then worked for the US Cremonese in 2001/02 and Giulianova Calcio in 2002/03 .

In 2001 he founded the Galderisi Soccer Team in Padua , a soccer school that takes care of the training of young soccer players and in 2006 looked after over 80 youth players.

After a heart attack in January 2004 and the necessary recovery afterwards, Galderisi took the position of coach at AS Viterbese Calcio in the C2 series in 2005 . In 2006/07 he coached the US Avellino in the C1 series . After a strong first half series, which he completed with the team in first place in the table, he was dismissed there after differences of opinion with the board on April 18, 2007, although they were in second place and were still in the promotion race.
