history
In the first season of the MLS, the Mutiny was the team with the best points, but failed in the semifinals at eventual champions DC United . In 1997, 1999 and 2000 the club also reached the playoffs , but were eliminated in the quarterfinals. The 2001 season closed the team with the worst season record in MLS history. For financial reasons, they withdrew from the league.
From 1996 to 1998 they played at Houlihan's Stadium , and in 1999 they moved to Raymond James Stadium .
