Coppa Italia 1982/83

The 1982/83 Coppa Italia , the football cup competition for club teams in Italy for the 1982/83 season, was won by Juventus Turin . Juve met Hellas Verona in the final and won the Coppa Italia for the seventh time. With 0: 2 and 3: 0 after extra time, the team of coach Giovanni Trapattoni prevailed. They succeeded Inter Milan , who had prevailed against Torino Calcio last year, but this time failed in the semi-finals.

As the Italian cup winners 1982/83 Juventus qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year, where they won the final against the Portuguese representative FC Porto and won this competition for the first time.
