Coppa Italia 1999/2000

The Coppa Italia 1999/2000 , the football -Pokalwettbewerb for club teams in Italy the 1999/2000 season, won Lazio . The Laziali met Inter Milan in the final and were able to win the Coppa Italia for the third time after 1958 and 1998. Lazio prevailed against Inter with 2: 1 and 0: 0. They became the successor to AC Parma , which was eliminated in the round of 16 against Cagliari Calcio .

As the Italian Cup winners 1999/2000, Lazio qualified for the UEFA Cup of the following year. However, in addition to the national cup, Lazio also won the Italian championship in 1999/2000 and was thus qualified for the 1999/2000 UEFA Champions League . Since Lazio's final opponent Inter Milan started in the UEFA Champions League in the following year, the Serie A table seventh in 1999/2000 , Fiorentina , moved into the UEFA Cup.
