The Coppa Italia 1970/71 , the soccer cup competition for club teams in Italy for the 1970/71 season, was won by AC Turin . Torino met AC Milan in the final and won the Coppa Italia for the fourth time. The team of coach Beniamino Cancian prevailed 5-3 on penalties and became the successor to FC Bologna , which had prevailed against AC Turin last year, but this time was eliminated in the group stage.
As the Italian Cup winner 1970/71, AC Turin qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year, where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Scottish representatives Glasgow Rangers .
