The 2015/16 Coppa Italia was the 69th edition of the most important Italian men's soccer cup . It started on August 2, 2015 with the pairings of the first round and ended with the final on May 21, 2016. The winner qualified for the 2016 Italian Supercup and the group stage of the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League .

¹FC Parma (now Parma Calcio 1913 ) was declared bankrupt in June 2015 and transferred to Serie D as a penalty. The Italian Football Association awarded his position in the Serie B seeding list to Virtus Entella . The loser of the relegation play-offs , however, plays in the Lega Pro 2015/16 .

¹Because of the bankruptcy of FC Parma, the Italian Football Association gave its position in the Serie B 2015/16 to Brescia Calcio . However, the relegated remains in the Lega Pro seeding list.

¹The sports court of the Italian Football Association rated the game 3-0 for Catania Calcio , as the SPAL Ferrara used a player in the 1st round with Mattia Finotto who was not eligible to play. Finotto was sent off on August 11, 2013 during the game between AS Avellino 1912 and AC Monza Brianza . Since this was his last appearance in the Coppa Italia so far , he was not eligible to play in the first round against the ASD SS Rende . Finotto also ran against Catania Calcio in the second round.

¹The home right of Catania Calcio , the winner of Game 22, was transferred to AC Cesena , the winner of Game 23, as AC Cesena is higher in the seeding list than the previously qualified SPAL Ferrara. However, since this was rated as the loser of Game 22, the home right went back to the qualified Catania Calcio.

²The home rights of AC Chievo Verona were transferred to US Salernitana , the winner of Game 29. Since Hellas Verona , another club that has home rights in this round, plays at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi , the club that was worse placed in the previous league season loses its home rights, as only one game per weekend can take place in a stadium. Due to an extension of the game schedule this weekend, the home rights went back to AC Chievo Verona. The game has also been postponed to August 20, 2015.

³The home right of SS Juve Stabia , the winner of Game 32, was transferred to US Alessandria Calcio , winner of Game 33, as US Alessandria Calcio is higher in the seeding list than SS Juve Stabia.
