Participating clubs of Lega Pro 2014/15

The Lega Pro 2014/15 was the first season of the newly formed third-highest Italian division in men's football. It replaces the previously existing Lega Pro Prima Divisione and Lega Pro Seconda Divisione . It was played in three groups of 20 teams. The groups are structured according to regionality.

The 60 clubs are made up of the following teams:

• Three relegated teams from Serie B 2013/14 (actually four, Calcio Padova , however, did not register in this division)
• 27 ¹ teams of Lega Pro Prima Divisione 2013/14 (actually 29, but FC Esperia Viareggio was dissolved and ASG Nocerina was moved to the 5th division by association decision)
• 18 teams of the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione 2013/14
• Nine newcomers from the D series 2013/14
• Three actual relegated teams from the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione 2013/14 , who succeeded AC Siena , FC Esperia Viareggio and ASG Nocerina

¹Of the 27 teams, CONI chose Vicenza Calcio as a successor for AC Siena in order to play the Serie B 2014/15 with 22 teams. It has not yet been decided who will take over Vicenza's starting position in Group A.
