history

Old Logo (1946-2018)

The club was founded in 1946 as Associazione Calcio Lumezzane ( AC Lumezzane ) and took part in the Seconda Divisione in its first season . Three years later, Lumezzane succeeded in advancing to the Prima Divisione , the then third-highest Italian division. In the 1950s and 60s, the team played mostly in regional leagues and was able to take part in the Serie D championship through promotions . In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the club took part in the Serie D league operations. In the 1993/94 season Lumezzane rose for the first time in the C2 series and was able to establish itself in the league in the following years. In 1996/97 he was promoted to the C1 series. In the 2003/04 season, the team reached the playoff games for promotion to Serie B. After AS Lucchese Libertas was defeated in the semifinals , Lumezzane was narrowly defeated in the final against AC Cesena and missed promotion.
