Manuel Belleri (born August 29, 1977 in Brescia , Italy ) is an Italian football player .

Player career

Manuel Belleri started his career as a footballer in 1993 at the age of 16 with AC Lumezzane , for which he made over 100 appearances in six years before moving to FC Empoli in 1999. With the second division Empoli, Belleri succeeded in promotion to Serie A in the 2001/2002 season . After relegation in 2004, however, he left the club and signed with Udinese Calcio . He stayed there for only one year and went to Lazio in 2005 .

Belleri was rarely used in the capital city. For the 2007/08 season he was loaned to league rivals Atalanta Bergamo and from January to June 2009 to Bologna FC . After the loan period expired, he received no new contract with Lazio and was therefore without a club for two months. On August 31, 2009, he finally signed with US Lecce . In the summer of 2010 he moved to the third division club SPAL Ferrara .
