Salvatore Masiello (born January 31, 1982 in Naples ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Salvatore Masiello began his career in 1999 at SSC Venice , but for whose team he only received one Serie B assignment in two years . The defender then signed for third division AC Lumezzane . There he immediately established himself as an important part of the team and secured a regular place. In the summer of 2003 he moved to league rivals US Palermo , where he completed 18 Serie B games in his first season. For the 2004/05 season he was awarded to Piacenza Calcio .

After convincing performances, he returned to Palermo in summer 2005. Masiello only played two games for Palermo and was then sold to Udinese Calcio , who loaned him to FC Messina for the entire 2006/07 season . At Messina he fought for a regular place, but rose at the end of the season with the team as the bottom of the table from Serie A and returned again to Udinese. The defender moved again on loan and joined the second division club Vicenza Calcio . After he also acted as a service provider there, he returned to Udinese Calcio a year later.

In the summer of 2008 Masiello signed with AS Bari . In his first season with the Apulians, he rose with the team as first place in Serie A.
