The Serie A 2006/07 was the 75th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It started on September 9, 2006 and ended on May 27, 2007. The Scudetto , the Italian championship title, was won for the second time in a row by Inter Milan , who set a record with 97 points. AS Roma , Lazio Rome , AC Milan , US Palermo , AC Florence and FC Empoli also qualified for the international cup competitions . Ninth-placed Sampdoria Genoa was Italy's representative at the UEFA Intertoto Cup . In addition to the Chievo Verona also rose Ascoli Calcio and FC Messina in the Serie B from. The top scorer cannon went to Francesco Totti , who scored 26 goals for AS Roma.

Juventus played the season after relegation because of the football scandal in Serie B .
