The Serie A 1969/70 was the 38th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 14, 1969 and ended on April 26, 1970. As promoters, Lazio Rome , AC Brescia and AS Bari from Serie B were added.
US Cagliari finished the season as champions and became the successor to ACF Fiorentina . Cagliari managed to qualify for the European Cup . Inter Milan , Juventus Turin , Florence and Lazio Rome qualified for the Exhibition Cities Cup . FC Bologna secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year through Coppa Italia . Brescia, SSC Palermo and Bari had to relegate to Serie B.
