The Serie A 1985/86 was the 54th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 8, 1985 and ended on April 27, 1986. Pisa SC , US Lecce and AS Bari from Serie B were promoted.

The season as champions ended Juventus Turin and thus succeeded Hellas Verona . Juventus qualified for the European Cup . SSC Napoli , Fiorentina , Torino Calcio and Inter Milan qualified for the UEFA Cup . AS Roma secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year through Coppa Italia . The three newcomers Pisa, Lecce and Bari had to relegate to Serie B.
