Roberto Pruzzo (born April 1, 1955 in Crocefieschi ) is a former Italian football player and current coach .

Career

Roberto Pruzzo played in his professional career for CFC Genoa (1973–1978), AS Roma (1978–1988) and AC Florence (1988/89). He celebrated his greatest successes with AS Roma, with which he became Italian champion in 1982/83 under Nils Liedholm , won the Coppa Italia four times and also reached the final in the 1984 European Cup . This was lost against Liverpool on penalties , after 120 minutes it had been 1-1, the goal of the Romans was scored by Pruzzo.

With his goals, Pruzzo played a key role in these successes and was Italy's top scorer three times (1981, 1982 and 1986). He scored a total of 133 goals in Serie A , 106 for AS Roma and 27 for CFC Genoa. In the Italian national team , he was used six times between 1978 and 1982 and remained without a goal.

In the film Nobody Skin Like Don Camillo , he played a footballer.
