The Serie A 1947-48 was the 16th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. The season began on September 14, 1947. The last game day was on July 4, 1948. Pro Patria Calcio , FC Lucca and US Salernitana from the second division were promoted.

The season as champions ended the AC Turin and was able to defend its title last year. Relegated to Serie B of Salerno, had US Alessandria , Vicenza Calcio and AC Naples .
