The Serie A 1968/69 was the 37th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 29, 1968 and ended on May 18, 1969. As promoters, the SSC Palermo , Hellas Verona and Pisa SC from Serie B were added.
The ACF Fiorentina finished the season as champions and thus became the successor to AC Milan . Florence and AC Milan qualified for the European Champions Cup as winners of the European Champions Cup in 1968/69 . The US Cagliari , Inter Milan , Juventus Turin , and SSC Napoli qualified for the Exhibition Cities Cup . AS Roma secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year through Coppa Italia . In the series B had Varese FC , Pisa and Atalanta Bergamo descend.
