Dario Hübner (incorrectly also Dario Hubner ; born April 28, 1967 in Muggia ( TS ), Italy ) is a former Italian football player who played on the position of a striker .
Career
Dario Hübner began his career at Pievigina Calcio, where he was able to score ten goals in his first season in 1987/88. Thanks to his physical strength and his combative style of play, he was nicknamed Il Bisonte (German: The Bison). In the 1991/92 season he was the top scorer in Serie C1 with 13 goals , four years later he also succeeded in Serie B when he scored 22 goals for AC Cesena . Thanks to his many goals, the Serie A club Brescia Calcio noticed him, and for the 1997/98 season , Hübner moved to Brescia. Hübner stayed here for four seasons, in which he was one of the most successful snappers of his team. The now 35-year-old Hübner celebrated his greatest success in the 2001/02 season when he scored 24 goals for Piacenza Calcio in Serie A and thus took first place in the top scorer list with David Trezeguet from Juventus Turin . As a result, Hübner played for various Serie A clubs before moving to AC Mantova for the 2004/05 season, where he helped with his seven goals that the club was promoted to Serie B. For the 2005/06 season, Hübner moved to Serie D after Rodengo Saiano . After a season he joined Orsa Corte Franca in the Campionato di Eccellenza , the sixth division of Italy. The last year (2010-2011) Hübner played for Cavenago d'Adda.
