history

US Pergocrema was founded in 1932 in Crema , a town with a good thirty thousand inhabitants in the Italian region of Lombardy in the province of Cremona . Initially, the club played for over thirty years in the regional leagues in the amateur field. In 1967 US Pergocrema was promoted to the fourth-class Serie D for the first time . There you could establish yourself and missed promotion to Serie C in the first three years by two second and one third place in Girone B each. 1975/76 made the leap into the third division, one was first in the Girone B of the series D with one point ahead of Romanese . In the first third division season, relegation was achieved by a fifteenth place. For the 1978/79 season, Serie C was split into Serie C1 and Serie C2 and there was a qualifying round for Serie C1 in the previous season, which corresponded to the third division in the following years. There Pergocrema could not assert itself and started again in 1979 in the fourth division, the C2 series. For twenty-one years the club was in this league, in 2000 you had to go to the Eccellenza , the second highest amateur league, when the license was refused after relegation to Serie D. Within five years, US Pergocrema returned to the C2 series. After failing in the playoffs against Calcio Lecco in 2007 , Pergocrema was first in the Girone A in Serie C2 in the 2007/08 season and rose again to Serie C1 after 29 years. In the 2010/11 season, the fifteenth place was occupied and you had to make playout games to avoid relegation, which were victorious against AC Monza Brianza . After the league was also managed in the following season by sporting means, the club was revoked and the club dissolved in June 2012 due to the bankruptcy of the Italian association Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio . The city of Crema is now represented by the US Pergolettese .
